I was selected as one of the artists for the BUMP Festival Road Works 2025, in collaboration with the City of Calgary. where I had the opportunity to paint a series of murals on multiple road barriers. These barriers will be distributed across various public spaces throughout Calgary.
Celestial Guardians is a mural series that transforms ordinary concrete barriers into a cosmic art installation, guided by the rich symbolism of zodiac constellations. Each piece features hand-painted star patterns in deep celestial blues, capturing the mysterious beauty of the night sky. Drawing from diverse zodiac systems, the constellations are paired with glowing stars, swirling galaxies, and abstract celestial motifs. A background palette of midnight navy to twilight indigo creates a dreamlike, immersive atmosphere—bringing a sense of wonder and serenity to the urban landscape.
Each of the four road barriers features a unique design on all eight sides, adding variety and dimension to the installation from every viewing angle.
