This public art project, hosted by the City of Calgary and Calgary Arts Development, creates vibrant spaces while showcasing local artists and celebrating northeast Calgary’s diversity. My work, Me and My Bestest, is displayed in Beddington Heights Park, inspired by the harmony between people, pets, and nature. Seeing it blend into the landscape—framed by trees, under a vast sky, with playful bunnies nearby—made me feel my art had truly become part of the environment, standing in my place to embrace the beauty around it.
